Find Your D-Group
Small groups are at the heart of our church community. Most meet weekly in a group member's home (usually the leader's), and we try to keep each group to around 12 people so everyone has room to connect. Tap a group below to learn more and request to join.

At Garwood Pres, discipleship is at the heart of our mission. Our D-Groups meet bi-monthly—in homes, over meals, and around God’s Word—to grow deeper in Scripture, strengthen prayer, and build meaningful community.

Each group has its own personality: some follow our weekly sermon guide, others focus on inductive Bible study or fellowship over shared meals. But all share the same purpose: to help one another follow Jesus and live as His disciples in everyday life.

These groups are open to singles and couples, younger and older alike, creating space for encouragement, accountability, and growth together in Christ.

FAQs

  • D-groups are no more than 5-7 people. This helps with greater friendship, accountability, and support.

  • Absolutely not! D-groups are for spiritual seekers as well as for seasoned Christians. You will encounter a loving atmosphere of Christian community.

  • Yes, D-groups are set up for decentralized growth. We just ask that you pray with the Elders and join a quarterly D-group for leaders. We will offer training, prayer, and accountability for those who desire to lead a D-group.

  • Our mixed groups are great at working with babysitters and childcare, just let us know!
