Our mission is to live as disciples of Jesus, as we make disciples of others in north and central Jersey.

Our Strategy

The discipleship pathway is not just for new believers, it’s for all of us. It’s not a program to complete, but a way to live. We realize that there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to following Jesus. This is an invitation for you to grow with us. Move at your pace, in the way that matches your journey, and in the timing that fits your limits. Come and join real people at the table of grace.

GATHER

The journey begins with "Gather," the intentional creation of "front doors" that facilitate a meaningful encounter with Jesus and foster a sense of belonging. We believe that these contact points are crucial for the initial spark of faith.

"Front Doors" include:

  • Corporate Worship: Engaging Sunday morning services where the gospel is clearly proclaimed, allowing people to encounter Jesus directly.

  • Personal Connection: Connecting with a committed believer or spending time with a Christian, fostering personal relationships that serve as welcoming entry points.

  • Community Engagement: Outreach initiatives (VBS, Fall fest, etc.) that demonstrate God's love through practical care, providing natural opportunities for connection and encounter.

GROW

"Grow" is the deliberate cultivation of a maturing faith through committed discipleship practices. This phase emphasizes commitment that leads to multiplication. Key elements include:

  • Committed Discipleship Groups: Moving beyond visiting to committed participation, regularly meeting to share lives, grow in faith, and build deep community.

  • Covenant Membership: Solidifying commitment through intentional covenant membership, formally becoming a vital part of the church family.

  • Generous Stewardship: Developing a heart for generosity, giving resources to support the ministry and expansion of God's kingdom.

  • Mentorship and Training: Empowering believers to lead and disciple others, ensuring the continuous multiplication of discipleship.

GO

"Go" is where transformed believers are deployed to multiply and invest in others. This includes:

  • Active Leadership: Leading discipleship groups and Discovery Bible studies, actively multiplying disciples.

  • Missional Engagement: Serving in church ministries and participating in outreach efforts, directly engaging with those around him/her.
